Witelogeneza u ptaków

Jajo ptaków zawiera wszystkie składniki niezbędne do rozwoju zarodka. Składa się z żółtka, białka i skorupy. Żółtko gromadzone jest podczas rozwoju pęcherzyka w jajniku, a białko i skorupa tworzone są w jajowodzie.
