Antybiotykooporność wybranych bakterii wywołujących choroby zakaźne u drobiu

W ostatnich latach naukowcy coraz częściej przestrzegają przed nadmiernym wykorzystywaniem antybiotyków w medycynie i weterynarii, gdyż bakterie doskonale potrafią się uodparniać na terapeutyki. Problem narastania lekooporności bakterii stanowi poważne wyzwanie dla współczesnej cywilizacji, gdyż leczenie chorób bakteryjnych, zarówno ludzi jak i zwierząt fermowych w takiej sytuacji staje się coraz bardziej skomplikowane (Morfin-Otero i in. 2012; Tadesse i in. 2012; Krasucka 2013). Z oficjalnych informacji przedstawianych przez Najwyższą Izbę Kontroli (Raport NIK, 2017) wynika, że Polska znajduje się w czołówce państw Unii Europejskiej pod względem zużycia oraz sprzedaży antybiotyków w chowie zwierząt.
